This app does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. Your photos and translations never leave your device. There is no server and no account.
Photos you capture or select are processed on your iPhone or iPad and are never uploaded. The app keeps a copy only of the images attached to translations you saved, and only on the device. Deleting the app removes them entirely.
Text is recognised using Apple's Vision framework and translated using Apple's Translation framework. Both run locally on your device. Language packs are downloaded once by iOS itself, through the system Translate settings — not by this app, and not through any server we operate.
Once a language pair is installed, the app functions with no network connection at all, which you can verify in airplane mode.
The app requests camera access only when you tap Camera, and photo library access only when you tap Photos. Neither is used in the background. No image is kept beyond the translations you choose to keep.
None. No personal information, no usage data, no device or advertising identifiers, no diagnostics, no crash reports. There is no analytics SDK, no tracking library and no advertising code in the app.
The app contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks and no analytics providers. No data is shared with anyone, because no data is collected.
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data whatsoever, including from children.
